Resin Bound Driveways & Paths
Islington Resin Driveways uses a Resin Bound System that is very decorative. This option combines a two-part polymer resin with a natural kiln-dried aggregate that is then put together in a forced-action mixer. Afterwards, it is trowelled onto a surface like concrete or tarmacadam by hand.
The system is laid to a depth of 12 millimetres to 25 millimetres – the exact measurement depends on how exactly the area is used. Normally, it is laid to take care of puddle forming areas and to cover other types of surface imperfections. The final finish will be smooth and anti-slip.
The coating is applied to the screed surface and then adapted to suit the specific requirements. It’s a low-maintenance solution that offers a beautiful stone finish that is natural and visually striking.
